New Engine

The engine has been redesigned and reengineered. Of course, it boasts the same durability and quality you've come to expect from Kubota E-CDIS diesel engines. But, this new turbocharged engine is now cleaner than ever before and offers higher torque and incredible pulling power. The CRS (Common Rail System) and Cooled EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) System reduce emissions, helping with compliance to U.S. EPA Tier III emissions regulations. We've increased horsepower to 108 and PTO power to 93HP.

CRS (Common Rail System)

Cooled EGR System

Typically found in automobiles to help reduce emissions and decrease fuel consumption, CRS has been implemented on our M108X engine to accomplish the same results. The CRS electronically controls the timing and amount of fuel injection. By delivering high-pressure injections in stages, rather than all at once, an optimal combustion rate is achieved, thus offering greater efficiency in the cylinder. This equates into less combustion noise, commonly known as "diesel knocks", better fuel efficiency and cleaner emissions. By controlling the amount of fuel injection, the CRS also serves to provide greater torque so that operations in the mid-to-high revolution range, such as baling, can be performed more smoothly.

Our Cooled EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) System aims at the same end as the CRS, to reduce noxious emissions. Specifically, the Cooled EGE System reduces smog-producing nitrogen oxides by lowering the combustion temperature. It accomplishes this by delivering exhaust gas through a cooler and then returning it to the combustion chambers, where the cooled gasses minimize temperatures and hamper nitrogen oxide formation.

For maximum versatility, the 16F/16R Intelli-Shift transmission features an 8-speed powershift with 2-speed, hi/low range for 16 gears in each of forward and reverse (24F/24R with the optional cassette-type creep speed kit). A convenient single lever operates both the powershift and range shift.  Upshift and downshift are also at the touch of a button. A sophisticated microprocessor enables smooth, fatigue-free powershifting, and generous gear overlap means less changing of gears during operation.

A feature that enables the M108X and M125X to automatically shift in a range of a maximum 4 gears (the preset gear and 3 up or downshifts) to maximize performance when your load or terrain changes.  The sensitivity dial lets you achieve quick and precise power response.

Operating levers for controlling hydraulics and shifts now offer an ergonomically-designed armrest to increase ease of use and reduce fatigue.

Equipped with an adjustable air-suspension system, contoured, and generously padded, you'll ride comfortably on your deluxe air-ride seat with swivel.

To help you perform jobs more efficiently and safely, the lower rear panel has been replaced with glass.  Now, you'll always have a clear view of what's going on behind you.

Whether the hottest day or the chilliest eve, our powerful air conditioner with repositioned air ducts that blow closer to your head will keep you comfortable in either climate.

A pre-designated space makes installing the optional radio-cassette or radio-CD with weather band a snap. There's no need to remove either the outer or inner roof. Plus, the speaker, antenna, and wire harness are pre-installed.

MANEUVERABILITY

Maneuvers more like a sports car than a tractor.

Bi-Speed Turn

When the front wheels exceed a turning angle of about 35º, Kubota's Bi-Speed Turn rotates the front wheels at a rate of speed nearly twice that of the rear wheels.  The result is a smoother, tighter turn, allowing you to turn into rows on your first attempt, or to easily maneuver around livestock yards or buildings.

Getting bogged down in mud will no longer slow you down. Simply engage the electro-hydraulic differential locks on both front and rear wheels to achieve positive traction - and you're up and out, and back on the job.

Another Kubota exclusive, the bevel-gear front-wheel drive enables the M108X and M125X to achieve a tight turning radius, thanks to a generous 50 degree wheel turning angle, enabling easier handling of both tractors in varying conditions. The Bevel Gear design eliminates open U-joints, and all components are hermetically sealed in oil.

To offer the highest crop clearance in their class, the front axle propeller shaft passes through the engine oil pan to provide ample clearance.

For smooth implement handling and for extra speed of front loader and rear implement operations, the M108X and M125X tractors come equipped with gear-type hydraulic pumps. The pumps churn out a total capacity of 18.1 gpm (M108X) and 20.0 gpm (M125X) for a 3-point hitch and remote valves. For higher efficiency, a regulator valve and low pressure oil cooler keeps hydraulic temperature low to maintain optimum oil temperature.

To ensure faster loader cycle times and instantaneous implement response, both M-Series tractors have high-flow, 18.1 gpm (M108X) and 20.0 gpm (M125X) hydraulic valves. The optional flow control valve also provides simultaneous operation of the 3-point hitch and a remote valve, or two remote valves. Adjustment of hydraulic flow from 0 to maximum is also possible. Two remote valves come standard on the M105X and M125X tractors - a SCD/Self-Canceling Detent and FD/Float-type valve. The maximum installation is 4 valves (3 valves with a flow control valve).

Telescopic lower link ends of the category II 3-point hitch permit fast and easy implement attachment. Telescopic stabilizers, turn buckle, right-lift rod, and the left fender-mounted remote hitch switch also make hookup a snap.

An electric outlet is standard for use with a trailer or additional implements.

Easier cleaning

By allowing a high volume of air to flow in, the engine stays cooler. At the same time, with a drop in air-flow velocity, and incorporating the viscous fan drive* that runs only when needed, less grass gets pulled into the grill. The grill can also be cleaned in a flash. (*On the M125X only.)

Need to access the hydraulic valves or sensor-related components? Simply remove the seat panel, and they're right there in front of you. It doesn't get any easier.

For fast cleaning, the sliding, louverless-type AC condenser and condenser net can be removed in a snap. Its flat surface also makes cleaning easier.

Quick attach/detach loader

Attaching and detaching the front loader doesn't get any easier, thanks to boom stands and two mounting pins. With easy on and easy off, and without tools, this feature is sure to contribute to your overall operating efficiency.

A standard feature on the LA1301S and LA1601S loader, the quick hitch will let you quickly attach and detach a variety of Skid Steer-type attachments. Kubota original bucket, pallet fork, and bale spear are available.
